OUR STRATEGIC GAZE

We find immense pride in the fact that over the past 5 years, 100% of our projects have come through referrals.  At Entelo, our commitment goes beyond business—it's about driving positive change for South Africa and the wider African continent. WHAT SETS US APART

We help impact-focused companies, individuals and public institutions integrate their drive to create value with a purpose-centric approach. With sustainable value-creation at the core of our advisory model, we place emphasis on the importance of organisational attributes like ‘empathy’ and how it can redefine the meaning of what it means to have a license to operate in our current times.

2020

Entelo signed its first international client, a New York-based company, and continued refining its catalytic narrative design offer. The year also saw the company's involvement in positioning narratives around the Black Lives Matter movement and African-related stories. Working with JSE-listed CEOs and Chairpersons on personal brand positioning became a growing focus. Notably, Entelo played a pivotal role in positioning the strategy and marketing of Nyimpini Mabunda's best-selling book, Take Charge.

2019

Entelo was established, signing its first two clients within two weeks of launching. During this formative year, the company began to develop its strategic brand positioning offer, creating an empathy model that would later shape its approach. Entelo's early focus was on narrative design, eventually establishing a narrative design offering as a core service.

2024

Entelo’s work remains entirely referral-based, with a newly articulated mission to focus on Africa. The company signed clients such as Harambee Youth Employment Accelerator, Hall Core Water, and facilitated the communication strategy for the sale of The Building Company from JSE-listed Pepkor to U.S.-based private equity firm, Capitalworks. Currently, Entelo is developing a scalable empathy framework, linking sustainable returns to a deeper focus on context and people—a groundbreaking initiative in the PR profession.

2022

Entelo enabled numerous clients to achieve socioeconomic change by consciously and truthfully positioning their brand value propositions. The company also contributed to the strategic brand positioning of the best-selling book Take Charge and was instrumental in positioning the African Development Bank’s AFAWA programme through PAWA Africa, another award-winning project. Entelo signed its first multinational client, Siemens Energy.

2021

Utilizing the full spectrum of its communications services, Entelo helped clients achieve socioeconomic breakthroughs in key business areas. The company continued to deliver award-recognized work in constructive narrative design, contributing to justice and equity in society.

2023

Entelo rerouted its strategic focus, deepening its core offering. The company signed new clients, including Nozala Women Investments and Sange SA, for impact-focused brand positioning work. Project work in Cameroon, Central Africa, further expanded the company's reach. Entelo also shaped perceptions at a national level by working on economically consequential narratives.

EMPATHY

More is required from brands and leaders alike today. The rate of strategy evolution means that brands need to constantly interrogate our intrinsic ability to create value in an ethical and sustainable way. Over the years, we have come to firmly understand that a key outcome of a good operational conscience is credibility and trust. We believe that empathy in strategy is going to redefine what it means to have a license to operate in this new era.

CONTEXTUAL CENTRICITY

Context matters in problem solving.  The pandemic for example, will remain a key reference point as we seek to reconstruct our lived realities, reimagine the future of business and rebuild sustainable economies.

CLARITY

It all begins with resonance. Organisations that are able to clearly articulate their value-proposition tend to succeed in achieving their overall objectives. Key to effective strategic positioning is a clear and conscious narrative, intentional messaging and an purpose-driven mission. We help clients design and articulate these critical communication elements.

CONTEXT MATTERS IN PROBLEM SOLVING

We are a full suite strategic communication consultancy focused on helping clients effectively articulate and execute their value propositions.
